We went to the Tall Sails in San Diego event today. There were 15 tall sailing ships docked in San Diego Bay. We purchased a passport and were able to tour all the ships. My personal favorite was the HMS Suprise. This was the ship used in the movie Master and Commander, the Far Side of the World. I can't wait to scrap this! They had all the uniforms, cannons, officer's dinning room set with china, etc. I will try and post my pages when they are done.
Hope to have some visitors to the sorority soon.

Welcome to Phi Kappa Scrappa. This is a sisterhood of scrapbookers. I have created this place for those of us who love the art of scrapbooking. All you need to do to join this sorority is to be willing to share the joy of scrapbooking. The only requirement is that we treat each other with courtesy and respect. I started scrappping 2 years ago, mainly because I wanted to preserve my family genealogy. Since then I moved on to scrapping my daughters early years, and am now doing her school years. I am lucky to have a great scrap store just 5 minutes from my house. The staff at the store are always warm, friendly and helpful. They really set the stage for you, encouraging your creative side.
I like to compare a crop party with the old time quilting bee. Women with a common interest gathering together to share their skills, their visions, their friendship. And of course BROWNIES and STARBUCKS!
Feel free to leave your own thoughts, ideas, questions.
